My Target Audiences: This Means You!
Companies

Your products and services deserve to be the talk of the town – in English and German. The basis: great copy. Come to me for compelling text – easy to read, clear and succinct, and at great value for your money.

The Internet has changed so much – but even if images communicate a lot, complex content still calls for text.

Websites are not self-sufficient, they are part of your overarching strategy. And in order to work properly, they have to be at least bilingual, in English and German.

Ideally, you give both versions into the same trustworthy hands: mine. After all, when I'm writing your German text, I might as well do the English translation at the same time, and vice versa. You only have to brief me once and can be sure that both languages convey the same clear message. The buzz-word is transcreation, I call it reader-friendly, effective and beneficial for you.

Profit from synergies, save time, and go easy on your budget – while still getting absolute top quality. In both German and English.
Ad Agencies / Web Designers

Time is money, and there’s never enough time hen it really counts. From strategy to quick shot, from presentation to PoS, from claim to caption – if you need good ideas fast, both in German and English, then I'm ready to go.

Ever faster beats, ever more client demands, always in English as well – who can do it all in-house?

A good thing, then, that you can rely on a freelancer with long-standing agency experience who knows that his copy and translations are part of the process and need to fit many things, not least the layout.

That’s why I write my texts that sport the precise amount of characters while still perfectly fitting your creative concept. I understand the strategy, think ahead or along as the project demands it, will develop texts in German and English, or translate them, deliver transcreation and keep an eye on SEO. I can handle the opportunities of the Web just like the ancillary demands of print.

And at the end of day I make sure that no typos find their way into the final product.

In a word:I’m your all-round trouble-shooter for everything German and English.
a Typical Project

From creative brief to ready product, there are many steps to be taken – a good thing, then, when you can work with a freelancer who keeps pace because he knows the route. Here’s a typical roadmap.

You know which goal you want to achieve and establish your creative brief. Let’s get started: with first ideas and a concept. Communication concept, headline concept, copy concept. Serving as my basis for writing your texts (for Web, print, mailing, promotion, event, presentation, …) – in German or English.

Once these texts are approved – containing everything you want to communicate, in ways that are conclusive, new, individual, exciting, right on target and effective –, I’ll to the translation at short notice. That’s so fast because all approval work has already been done.

Next, I deliver all text (in German and English) to the designers, layouters and typesetters in a format they can easily work with.

Once all text is typeset, I’ll do the final proofreading – for flawless results.

Of course, you may order each step separately – I’ll adapt to whatever your project demands.
